I’d rather my silence be misunderstood than my words be misquoted or my presence be mishandled.
The phrase “silence is often misunderstood” suggests that silence or the absence of words or communication can be misinterpreted or misunderstood by others. It implies that people may perceive silence as a negative or passive response, when in reality it may carry deeper meanings or emotions. This can lead to misunderstandings and miscommunication in various situations.
People often take silence for a weak person.
But, as per my observations and life experiences,
Silent people are the strongest people. Also very wise.
- Either the person is not worth the argument hence the person is Silent.
- Or sometimes Silence is the best answer.
- There can also be a case where actions speak louder than words. So if two people are into a fight where one person is constantly speaking and shouting, the stronger and most powerful one is mostly silent, because he wants to speak through actions.
Life Lesson: The person who speaks the most is in most cases useless, cannot do anything, hence just blabbers and boasts. Whereas strong and powerful people don’t speak much, and they are the ones who are mostly silent because their actions speak for them. They surprise everyone at the end!
