Pray For America

I live in a very red state and have kept my opinions to myself. I can’t do that anymore. The Trump administration must follow the constitution and the other laws of the country. They cannot do whatever they want.

If they can identify people who are illegally in the country and who have committed crimes, I support deporting those people. I don’t support arresting people who are legally in the country on legitimate visas or who are going through the legal process of gaining entry. People must be given the right to defend themselves from these actions.

If they can identify actual fraud in government agencies, I support acting to remove the fraud, but only after it is confirmed. I do not support removing agencies doing important service to the country.

I do not support taking medical and food support from those in need. Not everyone has enough income to pay for medical care and to feed their families. These are human rights.

Billionaires and others who have so much more than they need should not be exempt from taxes paid by the rest of us. I appreciate those who commit to using their riches to support others.

I am not physically able to participate in No Kings protests, but I support the millions of people who do.
